Asaayi Bike Race
Enjoy a 20.6 – mile road race from the Lake Asaayi junction to Navajo, NM and on up to the Narbona Pass. Riders receive course support, performance tee, finisher’s medal, post-race food, and overall and age-group awards. There will be post-race food and awards at the finish line at Narbona Pass. Camping will be available at Crystal Chapter House at the junction of Route 12 and Highway 134. On the same day as Asaayi Bike Race is the 12 Hours of Asaayi endurance race near Camp Asaayi. The Asaayi races are always staged at Navajo Parks Bowl Canyon Recreation Area in late summer.
Registration Information
REGISTRATION – Online registration is now open. The registration fee includes professional timing, a performance t-shirt, light post-race food, finisher’s medals to all, course support and awards to top finishers. Online registration can be found at Run Sign Up. Race day registration will also take place an hour before the start of the race at Asaayi Jct. Any proceeds from registration or donations will benefit the work of the Dine’ Bike Project on the Navajo Nation. There is a youth road race (three miles) for youth ages 12 and under.
