The 12 Hours of Asaayi is fixed-time trail running event in the southern Chuska Mountain of the Navajo Nation. The event offers runners a chance to experience a fully-supported loop ultra run at Camp Asaayi in Bowl Canyon Recreation Area. Runners will compete on a 2.5 mile loop course, mostly singletrack, with some dirt road. There will be full nutrition and hydration, first aid and professional timing at the staging area through which you will pass each lap. Camping will be available both the night before and after the race.
Online registration for the 12-hour, 6-hour and 3-hour events is now open through noon on Friday, August 14. Registration includes a performance t-shirt, course support, a variety of food throughout the day, camping, professional timing, overall and age-group awards. The 12-hour and 6-hour race begin at 7:00 a.m. and the 3-hour race begins at 8:00 a.m.
